Stephen Moir
Stephen Moir is the Corporate Director: People, Policy and Law for Cambridgeshire County Council, having initially joined the organisation as Director of HR in July 2005.
With broad ranging responsibilities including corporate strategy and policy, legal and democratic services, scrutiny, strategic partnerships and diversity, Stephen also leads the Council’s award winning HR, organisational development, payroll and pensions functions. With a Masters Degree in Personnel Management with IT, Stephen is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
He is also a Fellow with the Chartered Management Institute and the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufacturing and Commerce, often known as the RSA.
The immediate Past President of the Public Sector People Managers’ Association, which represents the interests of over 900 HR/OD professionals working across public services, Stephen also holds non-executive directorships with the Improvement and Development Agency for Local Government (IDeA) and the CIPD.
